2.5 cups flower with 1 cup and 1 tablespoon boiling water. Mix and kneed to a smooth consistency. Shape into a ball, cover with peanut oil, place the dough in the mixing bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let rest at least for one half hour.
Chop your green onion into small bits about 3-4 mm square. Oil a surface upon which you will roll out the dough. Cover the dough it’s the onion and then salt.
Roll up the dough.
Cut the rolled up dough into two pieces and curl them into a ring. Cover and let rest for at least 15 minutes.
Roll out the two rings.
Roll it up. Note that I have added salt, which I forgot to add with the onions. You can also use pepper with the salt.
Cut in four pieces.
Flatten the four pieces.
Roll out the pieces.
I am going to refrigerat a few for later. Plastic between each pancake. Use oil between each layer to keep the plastic from sticking.
Fry each side to a golden brown.
